Where Are We

Come brother come fast
Someone is shouting
Help-help
Seems to be painful yelp

Got response: -
Shut your mouth
Shut your door and sleep

I asked why?
He is dying, you also die
Goodbye

Whispered I
This is the life

That is how life is for all. It is a cyclical fact and we human beings too are travelling towards death from the moment of our birth.
But in your poem you have drawn the portrait of a death perpetrated upon a human being on account of the absence of empathy. A very fine write Aftab Alamji... (Report) Reply
