If you know what its like to lose someone
Than you know what life is like without the sun
To never hear the birds singing
To never hear church bells ringing
Eating food but you cannot taste
Feeling like you have been erased
Behan said all you need is something to eat, something to drink, and someone to love you
But why can you enjoy food without drink, drink without food but neither without someone to love you
Forever out in the cold and rainy weather
Skin looking like old abandoned leather
You can no longer laugh
Your no longer whole but only half
Nothing can excite you anymore
Its hard to get up off the floor
No longer remember joy
The feeling a child gets recieving a new toy
Then eventually the sun does come out
So you get out of the rain and enjoy life again
very well worded, its as if you chose each rhyme with precise thought and consideration.
'If you know what its like to lose someone, Than you know what life is like without the sun.' I love this poem from beginning to end. The first line by itself is breathtaking, and sets the tone.10/10!
interesting point of veiw...to live losing the love of life is kind of like nothing matters at all...just the time passing by but all you think of is the person who made your life...hmmm good poem..good tone and sight... keep writing
We can still survive without the SUN, BUT NOT FOR LONG.Love is life, like the Sun, not for long. Not yet, not yet!
Ah but to love and to loose is better then to have never loved at all someone once said. Wonder who that dichead was? ? ? ?

I would like to translate this poem
Poems like this can only come from experience. If I thought of how many times my life just seemed lke it was on hold when I lost somebody, fingers and toes wouldn't come close to a count.
