Who Is The Real Winner? Poem by shweta gulia

Who Is The Real Winner?

Rating: 4.7

Life is like a racing track
Everyone is running without knowing the fact.
What do they want are the sure?
Without knowing they just want more and more.
Running fast to leave one behind
Are they really utilizing their mind?
For this race they have to be very strong
Because the race would go on for life long.
I want to know what do they need?
Is answer really the speed?
What would happen if some would collide.
They would end up all their life.
I think this race needs a pause
Nobody understands me they ask the cause.
They don't know what do they need themselves,
I think they need immediate help.
Who will be the winner than, you would wonder?
The real winner is the person who has not entered this blunder.

a question to be answered by self.. coz it turns out that we unknowingly become a part of this never ending race and try to conquer it..actually in a sense this race itself is the sole reason that we humans are giving our best..but the unfortunate part is that we ourselves don't know what we are working towards..so a well asked question.. nice write! !

Those who do not enter this life long race are the real winners! Excellent idea. A good poem. Due to some Google network problem, my comments to two of your poems are not displayed and sent. A very good Indian writer in English is in the offing! Cheers!

I really liked ur poem. I think nobody wins unless life has a good balance. Finding the balance is tricky! Expectations, desires, competition... The key is to not sacrifice what's important... Challenging as though this is
