Will I
Will I have made a difference
When I'm gone and life goes on
Will I have left a message
Or a theme to build upon
Will I leave those around me
With a smile and will to see
The beauty of the inner soul
The things that set us free
Will I have left just one imprint
Of fortune for the sorrow
Of gushing tides we weep at times
As though there's no tomorrow
Will those who knew me come to know
Their true most inner selves
To walk through time with heads held high
And hearts back on the shelves
If I should leave a footprint
Yet it dries beneath the sun
It doesn't mean that I'm not here
My new life has begun
