Within My Shell Poem by John Carter Brown

Within My Shell

Rating: 5.0

I like it well within my shell
I have no cause to grumble;
no need to speed, as I can tell,
to helpless stall or stumble.

It's cozy here within my shell
among my favourite things;
where I can rest among the best
of them, and all they bring.

I'm lazy here within my shell
I take no falls or tumbles;
I like it well within my shell,
as all around me crumbles.
