As we travel on life's journey,
Unknown pathways we may trod,
Yet the road ahead is lighted,
As it leads us close to God.
Our steps may not be easy,
Sometimes burdened with great care,
But we do not walk alone in life,
For God is always there.
His love has built the bridges,
O'er the troubled waters' flow,
And He gently holds our hand,
When we wonder where to go.
He also walks beside us,
Through barren, hopeless lands,
With the image of His love,
Being footprints in the sand.
For His grace paves the pathway,
Wherever we may trod,
Just remember you are walking,
Within the strength of God!
