Without True Love Poem by Dorsey Baker

Without True Love

In your whole lifetime true love
you could never find
never knowing happiness
or peace of mind
Your whole lifetime
has been a nightmare
instead of a dream
A raging river
instead of a peaceful stream
Your whole lifetime
has been a failure
because its only true love
that makes life mean anything
and without true love
the heart can never really sing
