Women Of Color Day Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Women Of Color Day

Rating: 5.0

Whatever her skin's color may be,
She's a model of self sacrifice.
Always pleasant always nice,
The only thing I like to see,
When I am sleeping at the night,
And I am dreaming of moonlight.

So what if her skin is black,
It's she, ugliness who absorbs,
Takes only pains when she robs,
And gives you that what you lack,
Her skin may not be pinkish white,
Still she is a lovely nice write.

Read her heart it's pink like others'
She gives birth like a white woman
She breast feeds the father of man
Black or white I salute the mothers,
A happy day for woman of color
I am ecstatic, is it your odor?

There are very few things that are more shameful than people judging others based on their skin colour.. Women of colour have to go through the double bigotry of being marginalised due to their skin colour as well as the fact that they are women.. Racism and misogyny mixed together is horrible.. Bigotry needs to be challenged and eradicated if we want to call ourselves civilised... Thanks for sharing Akhtar sahab.

A woman is always beautiful and pleasant like silk that may be white or of any color.

What would this world be like without women? By far the most ideal gender; loving, nurturing, imaginative, peaceful, intelligent and yes, beautiful. All of them.
