The world economic climate
is slipping down a slippery slope
all blind Swiss analysis sees
is seamless digital PC data shifts
iron age fossil furnace defences
are melting massive ice caps
global warming sea level rising
corrective measures made lukewarm.
Who will take the heat?
Who will weather the storm?

Thanks for bringing this into a poetic context. The conceptual tools of economists are not flexible enough to deal with moral quandaries. As you show, poetry has the bandwidth to confront existential quandaries and economic trends.
