Wormhole
Two universes connected
for the first time in millennia.
The trepidation that safe isolation is now history.
The overwhelming wonder that such a portal is not fiction.
The astonished relief that the life on the other side is
just as warm, vulnerable, flawed, and admiring.
That is the moment when
our eyes meet.

A wormhole to a connection of another world of wonder, with infinite possibilities and the potential for great things to expand the boundaries of the mind and fill the heart for new adventures. A really cool poem, very imaginative and original.
