Y-Babblin' On.... Poem by Kristy Artmann

Y-Babblin' On....

Rating: 5.0

I don't know why he can't see
What his actions do to me.
The earning of trust is what needs to be done,
But he thinks my whole heart and soul has already been won.
The end of the battle is yet to be seen,
I'll keep waiting until my hands are washed clean.

How far would you let your guard down for love?
Would you be satisfied with a mate who talked to the opposite sex constantly, didn't want you to know his female friends, and saved pictures of them too?
How valuable and special would you feel?
………'Trust me', the willow tree says as its branches whips in the midnight air.
'Your heart is safe; I'm not a snake from the meadow.'………
But he's just like the rest, wanting their cake and eating it too.
Might not make sense to you, although it may to a few.
Either way I honestly am trying my best not to care; I just felt compelled at this moment to share…..
My thoughts…my feelings....of life and misfortune…..

Love is patient, love is kind…..
Whoa, hold up, wait a minute, rewind….
Let's take a moment to evaluate the matter…
At first it certainly made my heart beat pitter-patter…
More recently I've let jealousy and uncertainty take over…he thinks because I forgave him for his first transgression that he has me by the shirt tail…..
But it hasn't stopped the pics from showing up along with the texts, phone calls, and emails.

I'm not the only person with problems in this relationship
Actions of both have put us in this predicament.
Now can what we thought we had be recovered or do you now long to be in the arms of another? Cause there's no time for cooperation and help…cause you aren't there.
