You Are A Buffalo Poem by Indira Renganathan

You Are A Buffalo

Rating: 4.8

Fat and weighty
Puddling in dirt and dust
You are a buffalo

I am a poet
Who picks up words
from the moon
To sing it to the sun

The sun rises
But you don't
You need somebody
To pull you up
Ready for the
Daily life even

I need a moon
To gift me words

Absolutely! Indira Ma'm, it is the mesmerising moon that inspires you to write wonderful poems! Surely, not the fat buffalo Loved this cute little poem both interesting and full of humour too......10

'I need a moon To gift me words' Poets and lovers from time immemorial have been inspired by the moon! The changing contours of the moon create waves of imagination in them. Lovers love moonlit nights. Deriving inspiration from the moon, may you pen beautiful verse. A lovely poem.
