You Didnt Die Poem by Bre Renee

You Didnt Die

Take you down the road....

Tie you by the neck....

Use the dirty rope....

Rap it around the deck....

Let the body go....

Now you’re hanging there....

You’re hanging pretty low....

Your face is looking bare....

Hit you with the bat....

Break a bone or two....

Put back on my hat....

And finish up my booze....

Struggle to my car....

Turn the key to drive....

Put the peddle to the ground....

Feeling so alive....

Going way to fast....

Run right off the track....

Thought my life would last....

Landed on my back....

Wake up really sore....

Laying in a bed....

Half my body’s torn....

I see the color red....

Doctor comes in to check....

He said, “You might just die”....

He stuck a needle in my neck....

I guess he didn’t lie.....
