Your Choice
Think of only darkness
Or only brightness
What could have been left?
There could have been nothing to let
Since we agreed and acknowledged
That life shall be struggle and to be managed
The matter would have been made better
If things were left to be decided later
Yes darkness in equally important
After sound sleep you are ready for days start
To wipe out past bad experience
And celebrate with gain’s presence
Complete brightness also hampers
The growth enlightens person further
It may blind him with success story
The darkness gives him time to assess the glory
The sun emerges to spread light
Bring about change with no fight
Darkness has no place to show face
The darkness too gets ready to rush
Such cycles repeat daily
There are no instructions passed orally
Yet you are given chance to repent or rejoice
It is left to your choice

Shakespearan recital norbert3 minutes ago I think it is ok. The Shakespearean format gives it a classic style which strangely has the disadvantage of making it seem too poetic. Sometimes a poem arouses the most intense emotions when it does not seem too deliberate, when it feels like the poet just sat down and wrote down feelings, not structured sentences. It is a good poem for what it is, conventional poetry. But it certainly does not evoke intense emotions Comment 0
