Ribbon and tinsel, holly and berry
it's the festive season, time to make merry
there's cards and presents, snow on the ground
carols in church make an angelic sound.
A tree with its lights so bright
stands in the room to the children's delight
an angel on top and a Santa below, and
a sleigh pulled by reindeer through the snow.
with cold and frosty days to come
we sit by the fire while the children have fun
stars shine bright in the heavens at night
it's time for the family and friends to unite.
there are paper hats and crackers that pop
a turkey and pudding with a berry on top
remember Jesus was born this day
for us to enjoy this festive holiday.
Thank you so much for sharing, Jack. God's Blessings in Abundance.
