Me Poem by Ernestine Northover

Me

Rating: 4.9

Me - I could be a Movie Star,
Keep all my facelifts in a jar,
And use them when 'things'
Start to droop
In my soup.

Me - I could be a Fashion Model,
Showing off would be a doddle,
On the catwalk,
Moving my hips with a sway,
What do you say.

Me - I could be a Beauty Queen,
On the famous 'Miss World' scene,
Posing with a gorgeous smile,
Being feted,
I'd be elated.

Me - I could be a Ballet Dancer,
Yeah, a really high class prancer,
Doing the 'Dying Swan' on stage,
On my toes,
What do you suppose.

Me - I could be an Opera Diva,
The powerful voice of an achiever,
Rule Britannia here I come,
With a cantata,
For a starter.

Me - I could be a well known painter,
You really couldn't get one much quainter,
I'd have a flare
For something that's a masterpiece.
Wonders would never cease.

Me - I could be a Dress Designer,
From me the designs could not be finer,
I'd make them for the rich and wealthy,
Who'd have the 'dough',
Don't you know.

Me - I could be a top Entrepreneur,
But no one then could call me Sir,
For I'd be a lady who knows
Just when to take a chance,
And thus advance.

Me - I could be..........but no,
I would rather be, JUST ME! .
