[03] Life Poem by Ashraful Musaddeq

[03] Life

Rating: 3.9

(Grateful to poet C. T. Heart, my friend)

Life is dead shell
Rotten and spreading bad smell
Who will take that

Flickering lantern of winter night
Put out in the dark
Even then remorse wakes up

Always lifeless
But stone is still valuable
Alive over ages

Life is glittering rain particle
Gradually driven
At last into soil

Reminds me of Nissim Ezekiel's 'Beauty'. In your bones the marrow may stir as you see realities of Life.... or when you read Ashraful Musaddeq's 'Life'. But, that it how it is. The concluding lines are really good. Great poem.
