031010 Got A Job But No Ride Poem by Manonton Dalan

i didn't notice lady that came in
tugging along with her friend
and two of her teenage kids
to get a bi-monthly haircut
one of the kids wants flat top
thick coarse hair easy for that

she's talking about having a job
she'll start tomorrow but no ride
i can't give her lift i don't pass that side
she can take bus but nothing on that route
basic needs very difficult to have
that's how the way of life to survive
