after the water is gone beauty
grass turning so green it's envy
flower will soon bud to bloom
giving bees paradise to roam
i could be sneezing in agony
my eyes try to focus patiently

with sun so bright, ground hard
i wouln't mind grabbing my bag
to venture to mystery of the green
try my luck with my club swings
a little praise from a dear friend
could spice up my day beginning

i have to mow my grass to look pretty
give a makeover on my flower beds
not right away but prepare for someday
clean the vinyl for some water splash
the cars they also need a thorough wash
see, rain could be in both ways, you got it
