two birds flying in tandem; gliding
enjoying flow of air through their wings
it's like synchronize swimming in sky
not a feather fallen nor feet unfurled
magnificent on the eyes of the watcher
an envy of audubon family visiting
then a fire on elephant grass; smoke
filled the sky; so as ash drift with clouds
they got separated; a call never heard
they have a pact to go to tallest tree
when in danger or there's emergency
trees are on fire so they meet at sea
