A lifetime with my bride

A flush on your cheeks
A warmth in your hand

A sparkle in your eye
When told you’re mine
A glimmer in your mind
At what others now hope to find

The warmth in your hand
The flush on your cheeks
Days pale to weeks,
And weeks further still
A lifetime as your man
Because of a love already instilled
