A Poem Of Rhymes Poem by Dr John Celes

A Poem Of Rhymes

Rating: 4.2

I must take care about the food I take;
I must avoid the smoke whenev’r I bake;
I must avoid dust rising when I rake!
I must be cautious of the wealth I make;

I better count the calories in cake;
I better note the genuine from the fake;
A river-water tastes better than lake;
Make sacrifices I must, for God’s sake
And pray to keep my soul with grace, awake!

The rhyming, the words, the all too true. The way you went about too was all so good to read and to remember. Just makes me wonder what else have I missed of your poetry.

A tad bit 'forced' in the rhyme department, but that's only a Westeners viewpoint. India is very beautiful...I have a publisher in Cuttack, Orissa. He has described very much to me...a very kind man...Jayanta Mahapatra.
