A Prayer - Poem by Kathleen West

Fill me Lord with your love
So there's room for nothing else
Please take all despair and pain away
And may your forgiveness, dear Lord, be felt

Fill me Lord with your hope
May I look forward to each new day
Please bless me with the strength to cope
With each burden that comes my way

Fill me Lord with your peace
May your peace flow through me
Please grant me the grace of your will alone
And my faith be clear to see

My dearest fellow-poet Kathleen West. Thank you very very much, indeed, for this humble and strong poem-and-hymn, a precious confession of faith. Keep your faith in life and in your poetry. I pray with you. I give you a 10+ plus. And I suggest to send this poem straight to the Vatican (for music ecclesiastic composition) , either you are a catholic or not. It will be a fortune for the Holy See.
