A Thought......

It is the time of the year for reflection,
When your deeds of the year become reality.
A time to feel and embrace that which has been!
Sweetness and sadness interlinked.
A time you realise that time does go by.
That life moves every second.
It is the time when plans to change are created!
Life floats in my vision in a blur!
A step on the wrong cobble that now I can avoid.
A stretch of the hand to touch that which I neglected!
A time to make a call that never was.............
Love that was never given which is abundant.
To embrace,
To love,
To tolerate.
To build bridges with those around me.
To accept that which I cannot change.
The new year is like a new horizon.
Glowing with the light of a new day.
As the darkness of night fades away,
And the warm rays of the new day creeps in,
A day is in the horizon as the new year approaches.
A time for rebirth,
A time for giving and receiving,
A time to forgive.
A time to reflect and mirror thyself.
Mostly a time to remember the dearly departed!
A tear dropp then laughter at the memories that play in the mind! ! !

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
