A Woman Poem by Akhtar Jawad

A Woman

Rating: 5.0

Unconcerned of a cooled down night,
I missed the touches of inviting showers,
Undisturbed by lightning and thunders,
I was wandering in greenish bowers,
Capturing a romance of buds and winds,
Painting portrait of blooming flowers,

My heart was turned into a white canvas,
My brain was busy with brushes of nerves,
My soul was active as a heavenly antenna,
Exposed to me were the cuts and curves,
The whispers of fairies and Angelic guards,
Nature had opened doors of its reserves,

By God I was roaming in a virtual paradise,
Nature was offering to me my written share,
Someone put her arms around my neck,
But I was sleeping and dreaming unaware,
She was an eve capable of interrupting God,
"It's raining", whispered God's best software.

A worthy and elegant composition with explicity metaphorical imagery carrying in the flow of river twards the world of fairies even though it was just a dream.
