There's no man in this world
Who without any trouble is mould.
For one reason or the other
You are in trouble sooner or later.
The main reason for your fall
Into the sea of troubles—all
Is because of your inflated ego-
If totally abolished—this ego
You will be made free from all troubles, you see
And would in happiness for ever be.
inflated egos is a bad thing. ego for man is fine just keep it in check. nice write
I love the sentiment in this write but maybe we all need a little ego to push us forward, as in times long gone (and maybe i glance through rose tinted glasses) maybe an ego wasn't required due to the extended families love and care but now so often we are separated from our nucleus and if we did not believe in ourselves a bit, life would be very difficult....as ever a well put together piece..maybe we could happily abolish egos if we returned to our old ways.tyvm karen
Thomas is right but if only we men can leave it from 'over-inflation', we might actually see that we have what we break sweats looking for. Good write all the same.
Simple in form and lofty in essence! ! Yes, if we are able to annihilate our ego, we will be able to mitigate much of our troubles! !
