Birdie Daycare System

My wife has a White Eyed Conure
It is like a parrot only smaller
He is green with beautifully colored wings
Damn thing talks more than I do
About everything he sees and feels
Probably because he isn’t medicated
Like I am
A regular head shrink that little fellow
He likes to fly around the house
Me…I just walk around with my fly open
He goes swooping by
Room to room
Looking for someone to talk to
He talks about us being his parents
Because we’re the only ones he’s ever known
He picks on our dog because she’s a beagle
She just ignores his advances and keeps sleeping
She knows we love her too
Old girl could swallow him in one bite should she have the notion
Some days when he’s squawking
That doesn’t seem like such a tragedy
The bird’s name is Chubby
He likes to dance and rock and roll
He thinks he can do the twist better than Chubby Checker
And he probably can
Probably because he isn’t medicated___
Chubby needs his caged cleaned every day
Chubby needs his fruit cut up into little pieces
Chubby needs constant attention
Chubby needs to be medicated or put in a parrot day care center….

Laughter…because I am medicated...self medicated and my fly is open

I wanna be Chubby. Nobody cleans up after me. Nobody lets me talk all day. Nobody could swallow me. And I am perfectly well-dressed. Sigh. t x

Then again, maybe if we flew about and squawked, and dive-bombed everyone in sight....we might have someone to clean our cages, cut our fruit for us, and give us constant attention? ? ? ? ? ? ? Very funny...but then, I too am self medicated, and my bra is unhooked! !
