Bud To Bloom Poem by Susan Oxford

Bud To Bloom

Rating: 5.0

Barely peeking out between
the soft and rounded row,
the bud starts to awaken
as the moisture starts to flow.

The gardener gently coaxes
the bud to grow and spread,
as he tenderly attends
to his beloved flower bed.

The bud's desire to bloom
under the gardener's loving care,
becomes its one and only quest
no other thoughts compare.

Under the tender and loving touch
of a gardener like no other,
the bud bursts into bloom
with a vibrant splash of color.
