When she put some packs of snacks in my hands,
I'd say, " Thanks for your love and affection! ".
" No! Just I share the eats what my mum sent me",
She'd hum with casual looks.
When a fast ball hurt my forehead on the ground,
She rushed there with band-aid and some pain-killers.
"Thank you my dear love and life precious! ", I mumbled.
" I'm the medic-in-charge for the match", she said.
I didn't mind time when I spoke in talk-fests
and so she gifted a watch on my birth day.
" I'm in your heart! So free offers more! ", I grinned.
"My heart hasn't ev'n virtual space for you! ", she cracked.
"Please attend my betrothal next week! ", I said.
She was calm and bent her grief-stricken face.
"You're my bride, dear! ", I whispered in her ears.
"No one else will wed you! ", burst her face in smiles.
