Catch If You Can

Far away, from the rim of the Earth
Beyond the oceans,
Beyond human reach,
Into the aerial pockets of the blue,
On wings I have soared
To always watch you from above!
I am now one with the stars
Floating in ether like a mysterious sprite

Here where I dwell unseen
Is a land beyond all cares
Here is such lively luminousness
And such cheerful blaze
Flickers of flame all around
Scintillating spheres, cherubs on wings
And the Garden of Eden
Where love is a timeless theme
And where blooms a million stars

(I try to forget your eyes,
Two pools of brimming pain
As I broke through the clouds into the sky)

It is spring time here
As promised,
I shall pluck down a star for you
I will fling it across the blue
Catch it if you can
And keep it as your own

Let it shine in your eye
And mirror the blue sky
Where I shall script the code of love
Too deep to decipher, my dove!

A love poem and seems to be a dedication to your beloved dear mam!

I loved the way, you opened the scene and ended in brevity!

Holding the pain and trying to color it with love to live happy! (Report) Reply

If someone tries to catch you, your world will cease to be there. So let none catch you at all and you be there in this explosion of this imaginative flutter par excellent the Big Bang.
Good poetry has no boundaries and the poets thereof travel beyond the time and the space.
Madam Valsa, it is a fine poem with its intricacy of thread! (Report) Reply
