Condemned Poem by Kelvin Owusu

Condemned

Rating: 5.0

Alone, only with his thoughts
Heart frozen, icebox
He who drinks, feelings which he fought
Inhale mind in a daze
Communicates with his brains
Her aroma intoxicates
In the cloud, sky high Mary Jane
Broken pieces pass through the eye of a needle
Water turns blood to alcohol
The mind it eats, a temporary ease
A dirty wash, pain away
Drowns for a sorrow free moment

'Daddy why, please stop this
I don't want you to hurt yourself anymore
I'll be back I promise to see you again
Please stop hurting yourself, you need to fight
Daddy, wake up and fight, wake up daddy
Wake up, okay? '

A wake up call, a gentle plea
The voice of a treasure clears his foggy mind
Wine replaced with water
Clear vision no longer in a pool of toxin
The fight begins, for custody he fights

The worse pain imaginable to a man
is to be punished for the sins he had not commit
Condemned to an emptiness
The theft of the ultimate treasure:
His children.

undoubtedly this is the best of yours.i like its dark theme. the ending is really something else. such passions and woes never gonna be removed even with Mary jane or alcohol.somewhat all of us are condemned to this destiny when we came to this world, cause all of us were children and all of us were the thiefs of our parents'treasures. great job~nb
