Darkening Shadows Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Darkening Shadows

Walking across shadows lying on traveled pathways,
not tripping anyone, not being in the way at all.

Yet, there they lie, reminding us that they are
darkened shadows of the real thing on the other
side of them.
