Deliciously Different. Poem by Fay Slimm

Deliciously Different.

Rating: 5.0

Knowing, through your lines,
Feelings, as I savour the verse
Dark December dances, entwined
In reams of airy romance.

Reading through twilight,
Seeking warm tender echoes
In fast darkening chocolate night,
Brings you deliciously close.

Breathing your heartbeat,
Pulsing paged rhymes dreamily
Engage me in gentle retreat
From ice-cold, thus I taste love.
