Diamond Poem by Weldon Davis

Diamond

Diamond in my eyes shine'n
Yeah
I see you glittering
Your very essence
An inspiration to me
All that I see (Blinded)
Is your beauty
And I'm captivated
Elated
To hold you in my arms
To cherish you
Comes natural
Drunken kisses
By the neon moon
That's when I realized
I was in love with you
I see no flaws (Blinded)
Perfect to me
Perfect because
You reflect my soul
Back at me
The underdog
The one never favored
-Yet-
Still you rise
My most precious jewel
A diamond
In my eyes
