Domesticated >>>

Rating: 4.5

faint shadow in water below
fins wiggling side to side
maybe four of 'em in a row
i try to reach with my stick
they turn around gently kiss
hungry be, thought to be food
then they came close to shore
i crunch a packet of crackers
shower them, i see big mouths
open up, swallow bits n pieces

children come to watch with glee
throw food, in every which way
one like to jump in to catch some
i have to restrain her from harm
one parent who has net, fish scoop
try to corral one but came loose
they're floating with open mouths
more food they throw, more coming
we are more excited than fishes
they just show up for food n vanish
