Don'T Judge Me Poem by norman hale

Don'T Judge Me

Don't treat me like you're better
Like, I'm some kind of scum
Don't try and kick me around
Like I'm some kind of a bum

For, if you know the Book
And you do whole-heartily believe
Then you already know
That we trace back to adam and eve

So don't act like you're any better
Because we're all equal in His eyes
And you can't hide from the truth
No matter what the disguise

We're all from the same mold
All from the salt of this earth
We where put here for a reason
Starting from the day of our birth

Don't judge me by my clothes
Or the beard upon my face
Don't look at the colr of my skin
And try to judge me by my race

Just allow me to be me
For that's who I'm supposed to be
The same goes for everyone
We'll be judged enough come Eternity
