Drunk Driving Poem by Gita Ashok

Drunk driving is a serious crime
even if you’re having a whale of a time.
Alcohol gives your mind a blow
that makes your reflexes very slow.

It may give you a sort of a kick
but on your mind it always does a trick.
It will leave you off color and queasy
and driving thus would never be easy.

You may drive as though you’re the owner of the road -
in so doing you may lead someone to the Heavenly abode.
You may cause untold harm and destruction
and forever live in guilt and retribution.
