Ecstasy Poem by Bireswar Halder

Ecstasy

Let the full moon shine like a fully bloomed rose
And spread the light on her blushful face across the night
She lies on my legs spreading her long hair all around
I fail to measure the beauty on her face and the full moon.

Let me see her trembling rose-lipped lips deeply
That want to express many untold hidden stories
Both her eyes seem to be an ocean - want me to dive
I will not let her go in this charming night.

Heart starts throbbing as my hand touches hers inadvertently
An aroma coming out of her body, mesmerizes me
Frequent breathing makes her more  nervous and shy
A divine feeling of peace flows in our restless hearts.

With her pleasant touch, my body becomes calm and quiet
The wounds get permanent poultice - an elixir of life
It seems to be  sprinkles of cold water on a burning heart.
What a wonderful peace flowing throughout my body.

Let the night pass but we'll enjoy a divine peace
Let  people whisper but we'll crush all the barriers
Let people recognise or not, we will make a dreamland
Don't get scared of cyclone, we'll tightly hug each other like a steel pillar.
