Finding A Replacement

I was working all these years
Sincerely and honestly for them.
The day I asked for my dues,
My boss and as well as my husband
Both told 'u r too demanding......,
Not eligible, we will find better one'.

Both of them started hunting for
'New one', who could replace me.
I also started searching for a
'New job' and I got it as well.
Alas, boss didn't find anyone,
So obviously negotiating with me again.

Yet I am not sure about
My husband, still searching for a
Better companion to replace me.
Will he be successful? don't know.
If he fails, does he come back to me?
Do I accept then? No, delayed is denied.

Work has been already signified by boss's negotiation. So narrator could be proud of her working ability. Husband's choice is different... reason lies in polygamy nature of human being...... if it happens, narrator could find her own again.... At least the writing gets a meaning by poetic expression. Thank you. (Report) Reply
