Fishing The Izu-Ogasawara (Tanka Style) Poem by Marcus McKinley

Fishing The Izu-Ogasawara (Tanka Style)

Rating: 5.0

Giant orb of deep
Unseen by the sun or moon
Tentacles sink ship
Far, far reaching black trenches
Squinted eyes splinter darkness
Splash, crash, crush, life at sea, peril

Beautiful species. Beautiful indeed As the human child in the womb. Unseen by the the sun and moon. Yet it exists splashing, crashing, crushing. Fantastic. Just an atomic poem. Radiation reaches through the universe. Yet it exists. Good poem. Good.10/10 Regards, pranab
