Fog Above The Ocean Poem by Rachel Henley

Fog Above The Ocean

Rating: 1.0

Heart is heavy, By burdens I should not have to bear.
Months alone, Distant from function and normality.
Sucide lingers in my mind, Like a fog above the ocean.
My past forever pollutes my deep soul.
Darling, Don't take a dip in the water.
The water is cursed, I am cursed you see.
Don't fall in love, Cause darling,
Not even you, Can put the waves at ease.
My burdens, Are not your burdens to bear.
I beg of you, Please do not dare to swim.
You cannot save my soul nor my mind.
You will suffer with what you might find.
Leave the ocean, Swim in cleaner pools.
You are perfect for me.
I am just no good for you.
