Forty Quatrains On Battlefield [24- 26] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Forty Quatrains On Battlefield [24- 26]

24.Chozhan Chenganan, wearing sweet smelling garland, owned the delta
Of Kaveri river and was wholesome and pleasing to look at. He ruined
the foes in the battle. His warriors cut off the heads of the enemies
and the heads scattered on the field like the Palmyra fruits whacked
by the hurricanes dropped off the Palmyra groves.

25.Chozhan Chenganan of the Kaveri river drenching land killed
the foes in battle. The herds of elephants live like the mountains.
The flags tied to the elephants rose above and swept off
the air in the sky.

26.Chozhan Chenganan of the Kaveri delta land destroyed the foes
in the battle. The eagles flew up with the heads chopped off holding in their mouths. They looked like the eagles with reddened mouths
biting the strong five- mouthed snakes, flew up in the sky. s
