Global Village Poem by James McLain

We continue to grow less than the House every day,
and we are all living in the same House.
This planet is a small, Global Village.
Words are written, instructions never given, events
on the other side of the Earth, take no longer.
In all countries, fiscal, environmental pollution
and petty hostilities, have effected everything else.
You need everyone to change his way of thinking,
more now, than then, it's now or never.
This more than I, but United States.
It is over, they're us.
We strive to let all leave their Mark.
Leading ourselves and taking each other by the hand.
