God Poem by Ruturaj Zadbuke

God

When I was born
Everyone thanked God
As life went on
I was forced to believe in the Lord

And then I learnt thinking
and figured 'there is no GOD' without even blinking

God is, for some, manifesto of will
And for others he is that of moral support
For few he is an excuse to kill.
All in all he's got everyone's rapport.

So I decided to review my mindsets
And I turned pages of books authored by world renowned greats.

In this quest of mine
I first met theists who believe in GOD
& then I met pantheists who believe nature is GOD

I met the deists who say
God was the creator
but, not the judge of conduct.
But yet I believe in atheists who say
God is not the creator
nor the judge of conduct
It is just an illusion
to make people believe in religion
