I asked God, Why me?
Can't you target someone else,
Why are you after me?
Why am I always in a menace.
God smilingly said,
What suffering means if you want to see,
Please come with me, I shall show,
What trouble means to thee.
He took me on a ride in His chariot
Where only humiliations, worries, cries I could hear
Death, misery everywhere
All around people were in tears.
God said, I have given the least to you
You were due for much larger misery,
But I gave it to those
Who were strong enough to bear this cruelty.
I bowed to God and said
You were right, am really blessed,
I will not question your intentions again
That was the last time with God I ever messed.
We do not know if our fate could have been worse. Thanks for sharing, Kavya Peace
yes true Kelly Thanx. Sometimes in times of trouble, we tend to question God, not knowing, there are people in much worser condition than we are. Thanks for your comments

This is exactly what I hinted in my message to you the other day! Compared to many we are really really fortunate! So each time, even in sorrow, I train my mind to thank God! Really love the poem and the message it gives!
