Grave Digger Poem by Vonda Overlie

Grave Digger

Your guilt buttons broken, someone flipped the switch
Was it just you or a tag team?

Broken in my eyes, yet whole in anothers.
Problem is, you are a lie!

One day vengence, but not from me.
How does it feel to dig your own grave?

I will not help, my job was to encourage. You ran with the shovel in your hands.

I called to you, you paused, shook it off and continued on the road to destruction.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Powerful image, a sort of you've done me wrong, but I don't need to do you in, because you are your own worst enemy feel to it. Nice work, L&T
