Heart Of Stone

In love with a heart of stone
can't get through his tough bone
to the lair where his heart of stone lies
can't find it as time goes by.

Past the rough skin
and my eyes looking like shattered glass
and the time does pass
but I'll keep holding on
he'll open up to me.

I know it won't be long.

I can't wake up
I can't see
my love for him is drowning me.

I'm falling
ever so falling forever.

Sounds like the guy is not worth it. If someone has a heart of stone, it is better to let them sort themselves out one way or another. Stay strong and be happy (Report) Reply

Know'st thou not at the fall of the leaf
How the heart feels a languid grief
Laid on it for a covering,
And how sleep seems a goodly thing
