I Brushed Off Your Shadow Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Brushed Off Your Shadow

Rating: 4.3

My eyes were wide open
Babe, when I brushed off your shadow
In my dark room
I had the thrill and the chill, and my limbs
Have vibrated as if the earth
Was flickering subtly.

Your perfume was on my pillows
Your silent voice was whistling
And disturbing the peace
Which existed in my thoughts
Your spirit was, with me, present
Yes, I touched your shadow by accident.

I have read this poem in French, it sounds more beautiful! Ta voix calme siffla Et a perturbé la paix Il existait au creux de mon esprit Tes pensées étaient avec moi Oui, j'ai accidentellement touché ton ombre. Je peux seulement dire: À couper le souffle! ...................A 10=+++++++ for the scintillating poem.CONGRATS for the MPOTD!
