I remember when i wasn't that tall,
with family and relatives, and presents galore,
with lots of laughter and fun,
with a silly uncle and cousin chasing each other around the yard.
there was lots of food laid out for the main meal,
that was well prepared.
after desserts and a family snap,
that same silly cousin got a real big fright,
when all of a sudden, at the door,
a big jolly man in a bright red suit cried 'Ho Ho Ho! '
i remember this day the most,
all because of that 'Ho Ho Ho.'

I like your first line - about being small. We've all been there and felt the power of all the 'big people'. It's great to share the sort of memories you relate in this dip into your family history. Well done. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
