In my dreams is a place where dark angel's blood does run
And the fire burns cold when the blood moon covers the sun
The wind cuts you through like a knife has fun
In six inches deep I feel Ill succumb
And then I will know my life is almost done.
It's where the killer's breath is on your neck
The icy cold shivers make me nervous as heck
So I had better wake from my slumber
For tonight is the night of the blood moon's plunder
And forever my soul belongs to the dark asunder
So sleep sweet dreams till my nightmares come
And wake me from my deep sleep abound
For then scarlet blood will trickle down
As I am swallowed up by the ground
Six foot under and peacefully without sound
I will leave this world for forever dreams
With silver butterflies and crows of black
And I don't ever want to go back
Of endless golden skies where I can freely fly
And finally I never have to again cry.
